Rosemary, before being ground has pine needle-like green leaves. Rosemary has an agreeable, aromatic odor, and a fresh, bittersweet taste.
- Use to flavor herb dressings, stuffings, chicken stew, herbed bread, carrots, and potatoes. Use as a garnish in salad dressings and on herb breads.
