Barley, Hulled, Organic
Hulled barley has had only the outer hull removed, but the course outer bran layer, which makes it higher in soluble fiber than pearled barley, is still intact.
- Basic Cooking Instructions: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, add 1 cup Hulled Barley, simmer for 1 1/2 hours, or until done. Serve.
- May be baked in casseroles, used as stuffing, or pureed for cereal or pudding with maple syrup, cinnamon & dates.
- Grown in Washington in the Palouse.
