Baking Soda
Sodium Bicarbonate, an alkali used to leaven biscuits, pancakes, muffins and other baked goods. Popular as a toothpaste substitute (often mixed with salt and/or hydrogen peroxide). A helpful deodorant in refrigerators. A handy helper in many cleaning jobs around the house.
